He is survived by: his parent Bessie Mae Wheeler Slagle; his wife Clara Arrington Norton; his children, Vonda Ogle and Doyle Norton; and his grandchildren, Donna Summers, Stacy Ramsey, Crystal, Jason, Josh, Justin and Clarrissa Norton. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
