He is survived by: his daughter Renee Manuel; his son-in-law Derek Vernon; his son David Lewis Manuel, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Susan Manuel; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Hill (P. J. Foley), Kristin Hill (Bradley Hylton), Kela Hill (Michael Atwood) and Stephen Stidman; his great grandchildren, Hunter Cochran, Brandon Barley, Ivy Cochran, Dixie Stidam, Havana Hylton, Chevelle Foley, Jaala Hylton, Chloe Carter and Xander Atwood; and his sisters, Shirley Hennis (John), Betty Neal and Etta Webster.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
