He was predeceased by: his wife Nell Joyce Knight; his parents, William Houston Knight and Lizzie Sharp Knight; and his siblings, Mary Sue Reid, Gwendolyn Knight Baker, Spencer Knight, Talmadge "Ham" Knight, Fletcher Knight and Jack Knight.
He is survived by: his wife Nell Maxine Joyce; his sons, Keith Knight (Wendy) of Madison, Kent Knight (Kim) of Madison and Kirk Knight (Nancy) of Decatur, GA; his grandchildren, David Knight (Danielle, Chelsea Knight), Sam Knight and Kendall Knight; and his pet Loki. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
