He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Garrity of Madison; his brother Jim Garrity of California; his children, Marnie Garrity Steeves (Rick Steeves) of Durham, NC, Angela Michelle Garrity of Essex, MD and Michael Joseph Garrity (Kelley Jo Roper); and his grandchildren, Lillian Jo Garrity and William Michael Garrity.
