It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Farmer Jr. (Madison, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on November 28, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sallie Collins Farmer; his son James Ray Farmer; and his brother Jessie Ray Farmer. He is survived by: his children, Jessie Farmer (Susan), Randy Farmer (Felicia), Wanda White (Junebug), Janice Cope (Tony) and Patsy East; his siblings, Sammy, Ricky, David Farmer, Alice Collins, Nancy Flowers, Faye Whitten, Darlene Black and Nellie Nelson; and his close friend Jeremy Davis-Albright. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
