It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Mabe Freeman of Madison, North Carolina, born in Stokes, North Carolina, who passed away on February 8, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Jones Mabe and Claudie Belle Joyce Mabe. She is survived by: her son-in-law Dicky Minor; her grandchildren, Zula Manuel, Mary Bullins and Morris Mabe; her stepgrandson Jason Minor; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Cullen Freeman, Nathan, Logan, Daniel Bowling, Hayden, Emily, Ashton Brown, Alex and Will Gann; her husband Joseph Freeman, Sr.; and her daughters, Kathy Amos Minor and Sarah Lynn Freeman. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
