He is survived by: his grandsons, Billy Lawson (Susan) and Steve Pegram (Courtney); his siblings, Dorothy Kendrick (John), Mayodan, Gladys Mabe of Stokesdale and Billy Hall of Madison; and his siblings' children, Ronnie, Ricky, Billy Ray Mabe, Patsy Whicker of Summerfield and Kathy Mabe of Stokesdale. He is also survived by several other nephews and nieces.
