He is survived by: his wife Carol White Shepherd; his children, Christopher Lamar Shepherd (Shannon), Jody Shepherd (Andrea), Wendy Shepherd Wray (Kevin) and Shannon Shepherd; his grandchildren, Jewell Kate, Noah Kate, Austin Kate, Tristan Kate, Hawke Kate, Lydia Kate, Willie Kate, Teddy Kate and Molly Kate; his brothers, Mike Shepherd (Robin) and Allan Shepherd (Connie); and his close friends, Vince Loy and Velma Loy.
