We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2021, at the age of 67, Durwood Alvin Powell of Magnolia, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Alvin Powell and Lela Tucker Powell; and his sister Sherry Powell Weaver. He is survived by : his sons, Justin Powell (Rachael) of Wallace, NC and Ryan Powell (Jenna) of Winston Salem, NC; his grandchildren, Jackson, Allie, Bryson, Tucker and Phoebe Powell; his nephew Matthew Stokely (Anne) of Wilmington; and his brother-in-law Dr. Edward Weaver of Wilmington.
