She was predeceased by : her parents, James "Jimmy" and Aaron Joyner Jenkins; her husband William Junior Cruse; her son Donald Crews; her children-in-law, Rayford Kennedy and Dorothy Cruse; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Price and Jonathan Cruse.
She is survived by : her children, Jesse Cruse (Linda), Bobby Cruse of Ayden, Paul Cruse of Tarboro, Billy Jo Dunn of Clinton, Rachel Kennedy of Warsaw, Kay Simmons of Magnolia, Arlene Bowen of Rose Hill, Darlene Howard (Billy) of Magnolia and Kathy Turner (Donnie) of Turkey. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren.
