She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Dempsey and Edna Dempsey; her husband Bobby William Rich; her brother Ray Dempsey; and her daughter Sharon Greene.
She is survived by: her son Curtis Rich; her grandchildren, Tisha Phillips, Jordan Dean, Aubreilla Rich of Lincolnton and Kris Phillips of Virginia; and her great grandchild Teontae Johnson.
