It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ocie Lee Jones Turbyfill of Maiden, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on October 4, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Manson Lane and Lillian Cherry Drum Jones; her husband Paul K. Turbyfill; her son Doyce Turbyfill; and her siblings, Allen, Bryant, Jessie, Chesterfield Jones, Ruby Buff, Zona Perkins and Gay Reynolds.
She is survived by: her children, Phil Turbyfill (Julie) of Lincolnton and Kathy Drum (Jeff) of Newton; and her granddaughters, Jama Smith (Steven) of Lincolnton, Bibi Schmidt (Charlie) of Maiden and Maria Myers (Jason) of Maiden.
