It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carl Elwood Roberson Sr. in Manteo, North Carolina, born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter John Roberson and Letha Mae Seymore Roberson; his wife Bernice Thomas Roberson; his children, Patty Adams and Carl E. Roberson, Jr.; and his siblings, Mabel, Ruth, John and Pete.

He is survived by : his daughters, Donna Roberson Miller of Aulander and Ann Roberson Turnbill of Raleigh; his son-in-law Steve Adams of Chesapeake, VA; his grandsons, Robbie Rhodes (LeAnne), Ryan Miller (Ashley) and Alden Turnbill; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Conner Rhodes, Reed and Sawyer Miller.
