It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Gurganus of Maple Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on October 25, 2021, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Hedren Gurganus. He is survived by: his children, Brittney Tyndall (Blake) of Jacksonville, NC, Morgan Gurganus of Jacksonville, NC and William Gurganus of Jacksonville, NC; his mother Velma Harper of Maple Hill, NC; his siblings, Ricky Gurganus of Maple Hill, NC, Amanda Medina (Chico) of Maple Hill, NC and Jeffrey Gurganus of Maple Hill, NC; his grandchildren, Mason Tyndall and Leyla Tyndall; and his nephews, Steven Medina (Ryan) and Johnny Medina. He is also survived by several other family members and friends.
