He was predeceased by : his father Hedren Gurganus. He is survived by : his children, Brittney Tyndall (Blake) of Jacksonville, NC, Morgan Gurganus of Jacksonville, NC and William Gurganus of Jacksonville, NC; his mother Velma Harper of Maple Hill, NC; his siblings, Ricky Gurganus of Maple Hill, NC, Amanda Medina (Chico) of Maple Hill, NC and Jeffrey Gurganus of Maple Hill, NC; his grandchildren, Mason Tyndall and Leyla Tyndall; and his nephews, Steven Medina (Ryan) and Johnny Medina. He is also survived by several other family members and friends.
