It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Bennett Howell of Margarettsville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Howell and Georgine Matthews; his son Ralph Howell; and his brothers, James Howell and Marvin Howell.
He is survived by: his wife Rema Howell; his children, Tylor Dunlow, Eric Dunlow, Charlie Dunlow (Lisa), Mike Dunlow (Ashely), Steven Howell, John Howell, Shama Lee, Mary Lowe, Tammy Dunlow and Lisa Dunlow; and his siblings, Ricky Howell (Yvonne), Andy Ray Howell, Joey Howell, Paulet Howell and Virgina Howell. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the George Bennett Howell's Home (3314 Galatia Rd, Margarettsville, NC 27853).
