She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Elihu Ramsey and Polly Ellen Smith Ramsey; her husband Charles Earl McKinney; and her siblings, Lloyd Ramsey, Floyd Ramsey and Margaret Younce.
She is survived by: her children, Steve McKinney (Carma) of Marion, NC, Carol Wilson (Kevin) of Marion, NC and Alan McKinney (Lorie) of Marion, NC; her grandchildren, Steve (Katie), Dustin (Tashia), Todd, Amy (Chad), Patrick (Nikka), Anthony, Alissa, Hannah (Caleb), Allison (Jacob), Ethan (Kalina), Caleb, Rachel (Nate) and Shana (Chris); her siblings, Bob Ramsey (Helen) of Banner Elk, NC and Helen Nantz of Shelby, NC; and her sister-in-law Jo Ramsey.
