With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Abernathy Sr. (Marion, North Carolina), who passed away on April 19, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William and Grace Elizabeth Abernathy of Elk Garden. He is survived by: his siblings, Dale, Jean Knotts (Cliff) and Dot Schonley; his wife Barbara Anderson; his children, Charles R. Abernathy, Jr., Dorothy Lynne Hood (Christopher) and Eric A. Abernathy (Sulhay); and his grandchildren, Kaite Reid, Eric (Ryan Thompson), Andrew (Alex Abernathy) and Andrea Abernathy.
