She was predeceased by: her parents, Eloise Phillips Stapleton and Hugh Banks Stapleton; and her husband Norman Don Allen. She is survived by: her children, Vickie Sherlin (Jimmy) of Marion, Donnie Allen (Holly) and Jeffrey Allen of Marion; her siblings, Joyce and Cameron Stapleton (Eugenia) of Weaverville; her grandchildren, Alicia Sherlin, Brandon Sherlin (William Phillips), Jordan Allen (Sarina Wise), Alyssa Allen, Zachary Allen, Kayla Heath (Timothy Heath), Alaina Heath, Lacey Sherlin, Taylor Davis Hershberger and Tyler Douglas Hershberger; her cousins, Ron Banks, Betty Blanks of Nebo and Betty Marie Lidke (late Raymond) of Candler; her nieces, Tabitha Leigh Stapleton (Seth Prater) of Weaverville and Christian Spears (Michael) of South Carolina; and her great-niece Madeline Spears.
