He is survived by: his stepmother Ella Maude Murphy; his wife Shirley Vess Murphy; his children, Bobbi Burgin (Steve), Kathy Burgin (Fred), Sandy Dufresne (Dave), Karen Tipton (Randy) and Eric Murphy (Lisa); and his brother Colish Murphy. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
