He is survived by: his wife Belinda McCall Cowart; his children, Douglas Wilham Cowart, David Lee Cowart, Pamela Robina Jaeger and Robert Scott Cowart; his stepson Dwayne Edward McCall; his siblings, Dot Anthony, Sue Lankford (Gilbert French) and Claude Cowart, Jr.; his half-sisters, Margaret Hawk, Diane McDowell and Bernice Woodard; and his grandchildren, Bryan Jaeger, Tyler Messer, Brady Messer, Jessica Carter, Jacke Mulleenix, Suzan McCall, Emily McCall, Paisley Cowart, Colt Dillon, Cameron, Stefanie Lemonda and Dusty Shirley. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
