He is survived by: his wife Janice Marie Johnson Wheeler; his children, Jill Ellen Wheeler of West Jefferson, NC, Curt Aldron Wheeler (Laura) of Tucson, AZ, Carl Andrew Wheeler of Hayfield, MN, Cory Allan Wheeler (Robin) of Weaverville, NC and Jane Emily Truesdale of Durham, NC; his grandchildren, Ryan, Megan, Krista, Michael, Elizabeth, Courtney, Taylor, Aric, Andrew, Alexander, Nicholas and Benjamin; his great grandchildren, Braelyn, Royce, Kaileigh, Samara, Allison, Maddox, Evelyn, Estella and Gavarius; his sister Pat Rupkalvis of Burlington, NC; his nephews, Mark, Jeff and Greg Rupkalvis; and his friends, Irene and Jim Ness of Kasson, MN..
