He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Boone Buckner and Dora Foster Stiger. He is survived by: his fiancée Donna Taylor; his son Daniel Buckner; and his brother Chuck Hoerig (Ashley Deitz). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
