It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Smith of Marion, North Carolina, born in Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Smith and Leona Smith; and his brother Mark Smith. He is survived by: his wife Betty Smith; his children, Anthony Smith (Jennifer), Brad Smith (Tammy) and Kim Miller (John); his siblings, Charles Smith (Kim), James Smith (Cindy), Linda Fowler (Steve) and Patricia Owenby (Jimmy); and his sister-in-law Lisa Smith. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
