He is survived by: his wife Betty Hoyle Smith; his children, Jerry Smith (Hazel) of Nebo, Dennis Smith (Beverly) of Marion, Martha Pittman (Dennis) of Marion, Avery Smith of Marion and Doris Carpenter (Larry) of Marion; and his siblings, Robert Smith of Marion, Troy Smith of Marion, Kenneth Smith of Marion, Johnny Smith of Marion, Ella Mae Clark of Marion, Annie Smith of Marion, Carolyn Randolph of Marion and Eddie Smith of Marion. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
