She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Wilkerson and Lovie Hall Wilkerson; her husband Morris Kelly; and her daughter Lovie Wilkerson. She is survived by: her children, Frank Wilkerson of Marion, Larry Wilkerson of Marion, Morris Kelly of Lenoir, Marshal Kelly of Lenoir, Lanette Kelly of Marion and Lavette Kelly (David Parks) of Shelby; her stepchildren, Ollie Tate of Morganton and Paul Conley of North Dakota; and her close friend Maxine Kaylor of Marion. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
