She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Rhodes and Lela Meldonia Hill Rhodes; her husband Loman "Floyd" Lawing; her daughter Lorene Lail Poole; her great grandchild Logan Lail; and her brothers, Wallace Rhodes and Julis Rhodes.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry Lawing of Marion, NC and Dan Roger Lawing (Linda); and her brother William Rhodes (Sybil).
