It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Lonon of Marion, North Carolina, who passed away on December 17, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Pittman Krause and Luke Simmons. She is survived by: her significant other Calvin; her stepfather William Burgin Krause; her children, Calvin Lonon Jr. (Stu), Richard Donald Lonon (Betty), Danny Lonon and Vickie Capps (Boyd); and her sisters, Billie Sue Rhom and Pat Stroud. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren, and special nieces, nephews, and cousins.
