With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hilda Burnette of Marion, North Carolina, who passed away on February 1, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia McCall Hollifield and Fred. She is survived by: her husband James "Donald" Burnette; her nephew Jamie Burnette of Old Fort, NC; her close friend Linda Smith; and her cousin Janice Shurford. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
