She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Winfield Bowman and Ola Mae Hardy Bowman; and her former husband Donald Groce. She is survived by: her husband Lamar Green; her children, Lynda Whitley of Marion, NC and Tony Groce (Janne) of Raleigh, NC; her stepdaughters, Tina Calder (Michael) of Gainsville, FL and Mary Hardee of Myrtle Beach, SC; her grandsons, Tucker Ray Whitley, Jacob Lee Whitley, Nicklaus James Whitley, Sam Groce and Will Groce; and her brothers, Bobby M. Bowman of Swansboro, NC and Dr. Gray Bowman (Anita) of Thomasville, NC. She is also survived by many extended family members and beloved friends.
