It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jane Owensby of Marion, North Carolina, who passed away on May 31, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Virshel Hollifield and Evelyn Cox Hollifield. She is survived by: her husband Lester Owensby; her children, Jason Owensby (Jenni) and Ali of Cornelius, NC; her sister Judy Frady (James) of Marion; her sister-in-law Vickie Hollifield of Fairfax, SC; her uncle Norman; and her aunt Margie Cox of Marion.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a visitation and memorial service at her church will take place once restrictions have eased.
Memorials may be made to East Marion United Methodist Church at PO Box 2481, Marion, NC 28752, or to the McDowell County Senior Center Meals on Wheels Program at 100 Spaulding Road, Marion, NC 28752.
