He was predeceased by: his brothers, Lionel Carson and Darrel "Dib" Carson. He is survived by: his children, Kealon Carson (Tressa), Takerra Carson and Chaston Carson; his siblings, Stanley Carson, William Otis Carson (Elka), Dean Carson (Gloria), Edward Carson, John Carson, Marilyn Carson (Ken), Freida Carson-Collins (Nelson) and Rosa Annette Carson Pernell (William); and his close friend Beverly Carson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
