He was predeceased by: his parents, John Queen and Pearl McGee Queen; and his siblings, Fern Ledbetter, Charles Queen and Evelyn Esworthy.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Smith Queen; his son Michael Lawrence Queen (Deborah Tarter) of Pleasant Gardens; his grandsons, John B. Queen (Lindsey), Joshua Lawrence Queen (Brianna), Jacob Lee Queen (Kristen) and Michael Max Queen; his great grandchildren, Natalie, Abel, Levi, Remedy Rose, Ezra, Kingston and Landon; and his siblings, Gaynell Gardner of Old Fort, Ruth Porterfield (Tom) of Watkinsville, GA, Carolyn Dalke (Tom) of Spring Lake, NC, William Queen (Lynn) of Sugar Hill and Janie Green (Rick) of Asheville.
