It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie Atkins of Marion, North Carolina, who passed away on May 17, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margie Atkins to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Taylor Toney and Dorothy Mae Patterson Toney; her husband C. W. Atkins; her daughters, Linda Renee Atkins, Tammy Michelle Brown and Pamela Annette Allison; and her sisters, Jewell Johnson, Opal Patrick, Tootsie Harklerode and Mildred Toney.
She is survived by: her children, Carroll Wayne Atkins (Frankie), Lisa Diane Kirkland (David) and Joy Harklerode. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
