With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Goodson of Marion, North Carolina, born in Chesterfield, South Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Charles Anderson and Mary Shaw Treacy Anderson; and her husband Carl Dean Goodson. She is survived by: her children, Mitch Goodson (Jan) of Marion, Lynne Goodson West (Charlie) of Greenville, SC, Todd Goodson (Greta) of Marion and Mark Goodson (Teri) of Marion; her grandchildren, Lindsay, Andrew, Kathryn, Emily (Chris), Austin, Lauren, Marie and Carter; and her great grandchildren, Jonathan Henry and Anderson Lee.
