He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Warner Barney Durkee and Bessie Mae Setzer; his wife Gail Durkee; his sons, Wayne Durkee (Clorissa) and Earl Durkee (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Cody Durkee, Paw, Brittany Smith (Kevin) and Bethany Hollifield (Joshua); his great grandchildren, Adisyn, Khole Smith, Nehemiah and Cora-Ruth Hollifield; his siblings, Brenda Benge, Dianna Sisk (Charles) and Johnny Revis; his mother-in-law Joyce Parker; his sister-in-law Donna Cable (Tim); and his cousin Roy Mathis. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
