She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Bowman and Janie Elizabeth Sharpe Bowman. She is survived by: her husband Roy Gilford Blanton; her son Chad Gilford Blanton; and her sister Debbie Bowman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
