She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Woodard and Mae Herron Woodard; and her husband Ted Glenn Laney. She is survived by: her children, Glenn Laney (Francis) of Marion, Dale Coleman of Morganton, Sharon Worley of Marion and Royce Laney (Kim Bradford) of Bakersville; her siblings, Kenneth Woodard (Irene) and Judy Melton (Jerry) of Lenoir; her sister-in-law Carrie Laney of Robbinsville; her grandchildren, Mark Coleman (Mishone), Ben Worley (Lauren), Lauren Autrey (Russell), Jennifer Franklin (Shane) and Candice Trantham (Jeff); and her great grandchildren, Bryson Coleman, Ryleigh, Landon, Levi, Lawson Worley, Christina, Tristan, Dorothy, Allen Autrey, Caleb and Kylie Franklin.
