He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrol Anderson and Ruby Summey Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Diane Staggs Anderson of Marion; his son Phillip Jason "P. J."; and his sister Gail Hensley (Doug) of Asheville. He is also survived by Ten Grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
