She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard G. Shuford and Mary Godfrey Shuford; her husband Boyd Watson; and her brother Louie Shuford (Armenda). She is survived by: her stepdaughter Rebecca Scogin; her siblings, Bill Shuford (Alma) of Marion, NC, Josephine Garland (late James Garland) of Marion, NC and Dorothy Harwood (Robert) of Marion, NC; and her close friend Jo Shuman of Old Fort, NC.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, who she meant the world to; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews.
