It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Hanlon (Marion, North Carolina), born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on December 10, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hanlon and Mary "Mabel" Schatzman Hanlon. He is survived by: his wife Helen Hanlon (Perry); his granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Orlando; his children, Deb Hanlon of Zebulon, Cynthia Hanlon Cotter of Marion, Mike Hanlon (Deb) of Marion and John Hanlon (Lisa) of Zebulon; his grandchildren, Jessica, Chris, Sean, Patrick, Emma, Kevin and Zachary; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Ellianna, Braedan, Will, Claire, Harper and Emmett; and his sister Sergeant Betty Smith of Michigan.
