He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Jenkins and Mildred Jackson Jenkins. He is survived by: his sisters, Lucille Rutherford, Alene Goode and Celestine Jenkins; his wife Ruth Ann Swepson Jenkins; his children, Thomasina Jenkins Tate (Michael) of Asheville, Lauriece Jenkins of Los Angeles, Richard Byron Jenkins of Marion, Francelia Jenkins of Marion and Rashelle Jenkins Brown (Aaron) of Spindale; and his sister Elizabeth Jenkins Siler (Derrick) of Marion. He is also survived by grandchildren, and three precious great grandchildren.
