With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose Smith Redmon in Marion, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on December 4, 2021 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Heazy Smith and Julia Parton Smith; her husband Arthur E. Redmon; and her sons, Eugene Redmon and Billy Redmon.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara "Cricket" Shelton (Clifford); her grandchildren, Carl Redmon (Linda), Anne Brady (David), Kathy Bustle (Mike), Connie Valle (Juan) and Tracey Parker (Thomas); and her daughters-in-law, Treva Redmon and Billie Redmon. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Care Partners Hospice of Marion.
