It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Byrd of Marion, North Carolina, who passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dock Gibbs and Pearl Gibbs; her husband Ronald Dean Byrd; her children, Dale Byrd (Tammy) of Marion, NC, Loresa Laws (Dennis) of Marion, NC, Susan Blair (Ricky) of Marion, NC and Jeff Byrd (Lisa) of Marion, NC; her grandchildren, Amber (Shawn), Kendra (Justin), Nick, Alysson (Jordan), Adam, Danielle and Andrew; her siblings, Ruth Nanney (Dal) of Rutherfordton, NC, Robey Gibbs of Marion, NC and Ray Gibbs (Vicky) of Marion, NC; and her siblings-in-law, Charles Jenkins of Charlotte, NC and Cathy Caraway of Grass Valley, CA.. She was also cherished by five great-grandchildren.
