Though Sadie Louise Haney may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sadie Louise Haney touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sherman Haney and Minnie Maybelle Bradley Haney; and her husband Donald Lee Woody. She is survived by: her children, Donna Lynn Hollifield (Ricky), Pam Brooks (Tony) and Allan Woody (Maggie); and her grandchildren, Jessica Hollifield, Ben Brooks (Maile), Amanda Gasche (Jay) and Alex Woody. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (962 Old US Hwy 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
