We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2022, at the age of 75, Sondra Lynn Scruggs Jones (Marion, North Carolina), born in Cliffside, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Melba Lee Blackwell Scruggs and Clyde Carson Scruggs; her daughter Kristi Jones Hawkins; her son-in-law Steve Hawkins; and her grandchildren, John Sawyer Hawkins, Avery Cooper Hawkins, Sawyer and Cooper.
In lieu of flowers, friends and family are encouraged to make memorial contributions in Sondra's name to the North Carolina Down Syndrome Alliance (ncdsalliance.org) or the Attention Deficit Disorder Association (add.org).
