She was predeceased by: her husband John Trent; her parents, W. F. Austin and Lizzie Austin; and her siblings, Margie Shell, Virgie LeQuire, Lee Austin and Van Austin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Mills (Buddy) of Marion and Kathy Ramsey (Terry) of Marion; her grandchildren, Mandy Edwards (Crandall), Matt Mills (Jessica) of Marion and Austin Ramsey of Charlotte; her great grandchildren, Abby Edwards and Callen Mills; her sister Dorothy Frazier; and her close friends, Carolyn Kuykendall, Syble Bray, Vicki Blake, Linda Transou and Geneva Johnson.
Her favorite hobby and one of the greatest blessings was one that she started as a result of therapy for the pain caused by Parkinson's.
