It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Troy Roland (Marion, North Carolina), who passed away on November 14, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Roland and Vonnie Self Roland; his wife Betty Jo Pyatt Roland; and his brother Bobby Roland. He is survived by: his children, Donnie Roland (Amie), Jo Anne Sherman and Roy Lee Roland; his brothers, Ned Roland (Inez), Jack Roland and Wayne Roland (Gail); his grandchildren, Mark Lamb, Matt Lamb (Stacy), Sierra Wylie (Tory), Chelsea Sherman (Lorenzo Kennedy), Austin Roland (Sierra) and Travis Sherman; and his great grandchildren, Addalynn, Ryker, Camden "Peanut", Reagan and Mason. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
