He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred English and Pearl Metcalf English; and his sisters, Frances Ledford and Mary Joyce Crawford. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Briggs English; his children, Pam Gregg (Andy) and Eric English; his grandchildren, Ivy Gregg Payne (Thad), Laurel Gregg Richmond (BJ), Corey English (Daniela) and Derek English (Rachel); and his great grandchildren, Brooks Payne, Isabelle Richmond, Cooper Payne, Boomer Richmond and Axel English.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 74 Cemetery Dr, Mars Hill, NC 28754.
