She was predeceased by: her parents, William Eugene Augustus Sevier and Wenona Ramsey Sevier; her husbands, Robert Vance Haerle and Charles Alton Carson; and her brothers, James "Dickie" Sevier and Charles C. Sevier, II.
She is survived by: her daughter Jane Lewis (Bill) of Matthews, NC; and her grandsons, Sid Lewis (Mary Jo) and Alton Lewis (Jenni). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
