It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert James Trivett Sr. of Matthews, North Carolina, who passed away on February 12, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldridge Trivett and Mamie Oakes Trivett; his siblings, Clarence, Betty, Lee and Doris; and his daughters, Melinda and Shannon.

He is survived by: his wife Thelma; his sons, Robert Jr. (Jan) and Steve (Veda); and his grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Joshua and Lizzy.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hearts and Hammers Ministry, Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 7200 E WT Harris Blvd, Charlotte, N.C. 28215.
